I read today that Barack Obama resigned his church membership from his longstanding church finally separating himself from Jeremiah Wright. I've always been a bit confused why Mr. Wright feels so free to comment on matters of the state, given that he's church.
Anyway, I wonder what it feels like. Mr. Wright has been talked about quite a bit and even gotten a book deal out of all of this. But guess what? I bet in about 6 months nobody will remember him.
I'm fairly certain he knows this. And yes, more or less nobody knew about him before this so he'll be back to where he was. But once you get the taste, it's hard not to want it again.
Alas, the clock is soon to strike 15 minutes on Mr. Wright and we'll all move on, I wonder how he will.
