PLEASE someone help me. I'm trying to verify if a story is true. After reading a post from the David Byrne Journal (yes, that David Byrne of the Talking Heads, he has a blog and 50% of the time it's ok & 50% of the time it's out of this world), I looked into whether or not the famous Arch in Brooklyn, New York is in fact the home of the Puppett Lending Library.
This smacks of internet hoax but a small part of me wishes that it just might be true. Even if it isn't it might be kind of fun to consider it. If it is it would be really fun to visit it.
I'm erring on the side of caution but hoping on the side of dreams. The strange thing is even if I do get someone posting a comment that this is true, I still won't really be able to believe it until I, literally , see it with my own eyes. It just sounds a bit too unusual but easily backed up on line with a few quickly built websites.
I am the puppet-like imitation of a doubting Thomas. I suppose nothing would be more appropriate than a puppet hoax propagated by a man who once was in a video acting like a puppet (Once in a Lifetime).....same as it ever was.
yes, it's real. i garantee it.
