As I gazed at my beautiful face in the mirror of the lake, I spoke these words.....Sorry, a little Narcissus humor for you there.
But seriously, I get quotes every day from a few sources and there are quite a few funny ones. There's also a GREAT Curb Your Enthusiasm episode wherein Richard Lewis tries to get himself into Bartlett's as being the guy who invented "from hell".
Anyhoo, I was thinking about what potential quotes I use or have said that might be considered for inclusion. I came up with two (and a new item on my to do list to become more original, which is right after my item to talk to my therapist about how I can become more "normal"....ha!):
- There might be things in life to worry about but that is not one of them. (This one's nice because you can use it...well always. Suddenly you realize that this all is illusory.)
- I avoid large groups of single men because I think by osmosis I'll lose IQ points.
I go for quality not quantity.
Hah! I like them both. The first one, however, I had to read twice over. The wording encouraged my eye to gloss through it. (You know that feeling you get when you suspect there's a grammatical error, but there isn't?)

Interestingly, the first one took me a while to get it down verbally....
